Sundays at Nexus

You can be a part of worship at Nexus Church on Sundays either in-person or online.  When you arrive, you will find that we are doing everything possible to create a safe worship experience for all involved and are sanitizing our facility weekly. Masks are optional but not required. If you have been exposed to someone with Covid, we would encourage you to wear a mask. If you have any symptoms of illness, we encourage you to stay home. As always, if you feel more comfortable to wear a mask, you are encouraged to do so.

Is there
music?

Music is an integral part of our worship! Our band leads us in worship that strives to awaken us as the body of Christ. This is a time for the church to engage our hearts and minds with God’s truth by singing to Him. Sing along if you’d like, or feel free to simply listen.

How's the
teaching?

The message is always focused on addressing the real issues that real people face in their daily lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by Pastor Brandin and our other teaching pastors. We believe if we show up that God will speak to us and open a door for us to respond to what He has spoken to our hearts.

What about
my kids?

Nexus Kids is a ministry that provides unique in-person learning environments for ages birth through 5th grade. Together, kids learn God’s word and deepen their relationship with Jesus.  Resources are available on our website to use with your family.  You can locate these resources by clicking our Connect tab, selecting Ministries, then selecting Kids Resources.

Do we take
communion?

At Nexus Church communion is an integral part of corporate worship gatherings. It serves as a reminder that we all have a spot at the table as it also calls us to both remember Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection as well as a call to embrace this for our own lives. We receive communion as a corporate body on the 1st Sunday of the month. Communion supplies are provided for in-person worship.

What should
I wear?

When we gather in-person, you will find us in casual clothes! Very likely the teaching pastor will be wearing blue jeans. In fact, when the weather warms up, don’t be surprised to see lots of people in shorts. If you join us online feel free to enjoy watching in your pajamas!
