Our Beliefs
We hold the following beliefs in common with global network of churches called the Church of the Nazarene.
We believe in one God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for EVERYONE; and that whosoever repents and believes in Him is saved from sin.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and to the sanctifying work of God in our lives.
People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. Everyone has been created by God and deserves to be treated equally.
Salvation is God’s supreme gift to us, but we must receive it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Chist as God’s offer of forgivenss can anyone be saved.
As God’s children, He desires that we reflect His character and His personality. We believe that the Holy Spirit allows us to grow in and experience sanctification, enabling us to reflect His holiness and nature.

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally seperated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.
